Nicole Swartz,  FNP-BC width=Nicole is a native Montanan, born and raised in Great Falls, Montana. Her passion for nursing started as she completed her undergraduate nursing program at Carroll College in Helena, Montana graduating with the honor of Maxima cum Laude. She worked as a Register Nurse (RN) in Pediatric Home Health and in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit yet was drawn to the multifaceted role of the Nurse Practitioner. Nicole achieved a Master's degree in Nursing through Montana State University (MSU), Bozeman while remaining on the Dean's List throughout her time at MSU.

Nicole is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) specializing in the comprehensive, holistic care of patients throughout the life span. She gained general orthopaedics knowledge and sparked an interest in the musculoskeletal system while working at a local Missoula Urgent Care after graduation. She further specialized into Ortho-Spine training directly under Dr. John Hammerstein, MD as well as completing a rigorous RN First Assist Surgical Program through Southwest Florida College. Since 2018, she has dedicated her focus to non-operative spine and pain care. Nicole's role at Advanced Pain and Spine includes but is not limited to, ordering and interpreting diagnostic imaging, creating a comprehensive multi-disciplinary treatment plan of care, medication management, and completing minor procedures such as trigger point injections, greater and lesser occipital nerve root blocks, and Botox treatment for migraine headaches and spasticity. She also manages IT Pumps and Spinal Cord Stimulators.

In Nicole's free time she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. She volunteers with Special Olympics of Montana helping local and statewide athletes. She has a passion for the great outdoors of Montana and revels in hiking, camping, and downhill skiing. She is an avid runner and has finished half and full marathons, including the Missoula Marathon. She is fervent reader and appreciates classic literature.
